Taxpayer Representation Services

Many of us have been there, getting that dreaded anxiety provoking letter from the IRS or a State taxing authority telling us our tax return was filed incorrectly and that there is an additional amount due.  AND, in addition to the tax due there are also penalties and interest that have accrued!

There is enough stress in life these days, you should not take on the additional stress of having to deal with the agonizing beauracracy of the federal and state taxing authorities.  The CPAs and EAs at Pignatare & Sagan LLC are well versed and highly experienced in navigating the beuracratic morass and dealing with the IRS, and each of us have had significant success in getting proposed amounts due, penalties and interest reduced substantially or even eliminated.

So, before you take on the IRS unassisted, be sure to ask yourself these questions, and answer honestly:

Do I have the wherewithal to endure the drawn out process of dealing with the taxing authorities?
Do I have the knowlege of the tax code to get to a result that I find to be satisfactory and fair?
Do I have the time to call the IRS, whose wait times can average between 30 to 60 minutes?

Our services are fee based, and are not at all related to the amount in question.
